In 21C, the world concerns highly turns
into the environment and tightens control over the environment
regulatory. It is becoming the environmental management
age controlled by the clients' preference for environment
friendly products
so that the companies keep pace with the environment management.Green
Purchase is to keep purchasing the products that hardly
affect the environment and the human body health, can
be recycled and do not use a hazardous material for the
environment when purchasing the products and services.
Under EU's leading, the environment regulatory for the
product harmfulness is getting more strictly and this
is becoming the issues of the product quality and non-tariff
trade barrier. |

The objects for this regulation are as follows: RoHS(prohibition
of Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr+6, PBB, PBDEs) applied to all electronic
and electric equipment imported to EU in effect from July
2006, Cadmium Directive(regulation of Cadmium use rate
in the
parts and products of plastics), WEEE(Use of over 65%
recyclable materials and recycle over 75% when disposing
the
products and wrapping materials), U.S. Proposition 65(regulation
of using Pb, California Environment Act, 1986),
Netherlands Cadmium Directive(regulation of Cadmium use
rate in the parts and products of plastic) and etc.
Hereupon, Hansung Elcomtec obtained the certification
of ISO14001 Environment Management System in July 2004
and a
post-inspection renewed certification from System Korea
in 2005 to meet the clients' requirements and the international
environmental regulatory. To make the environment policy
come true, now we make an environment-oriented design,
operate a system that inspects and manages the use of
hazardous materials when purchasing the parts from the
cooperative companies and introduce and operate XRF(X-ray
Fluorescence) for a continuous control of the environment
management. And we construct the management system for
the products not reaching the client's requirement in
observance of RoHS and operate LEAD-FREE as a label used
for the products free from Pb, Cr+6. Hereby, Hansung
Elcomtec accomplishes the social responsibilities as a

keep
