"Hansungs' Resolution for the 2nd jump"

  Since I founded Hansung in April 1983, the company defeated numerous diffculties with a strong commitment and continous business activieies and it finally has been a midsized clomerates which achieve great strides of every company managing more than 10 business at home and aboad today.

It is totally thanks to employees who follow me with painstaking effort and shareholders who put a lot of encouragement and care to us.

I think Life is binding with peoples'relationship.

Seeing employees who re-join and work harder than before and Hansung's predecessors who live a sucessful life, we convince that enterprise spirit which we have built is being rooted.

While proceeding the business of EC, HVC, inorganic EL, BLU, CCM, LED lighting and natural resources development, we have faced the limit of growth in the present as well as honor of occuping the world best position in the past. In this harsh business environment, I really appreciate employees who work hard for their responsibility and am spearheading with help of management specialists.

 

After discussing how to overcome these obstacles with each company's executives. I present Hansung group's sales goals in the year of 2020 as below; LED lighting and component business: 1.5 trillion Existing business area; IT components, semiconductors, optical business: 1.5 trillion Resource development business: 300 billion New business and through M&A with promising business: 1.7 trillion.

¡Ü "2nd establishment" To achieve Hansung group's sales goal of 5 trillion in 2020 and be listed in 200 Korean      companies

¡Ü "Organizational Innovation" LED Lighting division, IT business division, To proceed strong and systemetic       resposiblemanagement through group organizational innovation

¡Ü "Group Strategic Development" To design future strategies by Hansung Advanced Institute of Technology

 

To achieve this goal, I will prepare for wholehearted support to each companies and we think of M&A for sinergy between orgarnizations if necessary. All our departments will be re-orgarnized with "LED lighting" and "IT business" from July 1st in this year and "SAIT" will be also established to support the two departments directly and indirectly in search of new industry which will be the most important roles for the Hansung' furture designing.

From the second half of last year thanks to lots of researching and developing during days and nights, curved glass for smartphone and smartpad were successsfully developed. Moreover, the development of world's leading 3D CCM was complete, threfore we can show off and promote our products in CES in las Vagas and MWC in Barcelona.

A considerable amount of orders are expected since the second half of this year. In addition, the growth rate is expected to be explosive. These items, LED lighting and curved glass, will lead to our company's future business.

To achieve the goal, we must have the prerequisites to be accomplishied.

That is debt rate below 50% or debt-free business. We have many seen that companies that do not have financial stability are likely to fall down itself. Like weak deer can only be a prey of a jungle beasts, each companies have to set up an efficient management system, R&D intensive system and strengthening domestic and international sales force in order to achieve financial stability.

 

It it so obvious that our goal "5 trillion won outcome in 2020 and 200th company group entered" will be come true under these system.
